Deine Freunde vs. Me

i'm happy to announce that this next sunday we're playing a duo set for the cologne based voters association "deine freunde". usually i'm really not into that kind of stuff, allein those people are pretty awesome and focus locally on issues like citizen participation and politics transparency. we'll be playing around 19h, the whole event starts a lot earlier though, you might want to check on that. besides, the venue is run by my man roland who is also famous for his delicious herb liqueur. so make sure you drop by and say hello :)

after cycling through a cold winter rain and freezing to insanity, the afternoon over at kölncampus turned out just wonderful. i got to know christoph "bohren" clöser, whose sax playing enriched my life so many times. a very very good person. make sure you hear him playing tomorrow in cologne. also pascal was a breeze to hang out with. listen for yourself:

hi all! this saturday (tomorrow) i'll be doing an interview thing with pascal blondiau at radio kölncampus 14h00-14h30. i love pascal, he's one of the most dignified music fanciers out there, i'm very happy to be part of the show this year. core of the "take 5" series is that the guests are invited to present their top five fave tracks of the year. and 2011 was such a rich year in terms of quality releases. tune in!

let's KenFM again! i remember the last time quite well, it was a breeze. ken is a superfast speaking high potential type of guy - you really gotta focus hard on whats going on, otherwise you just get drowned in words and wind up completely lost :) this will be fun! we'll be playing like six songs with the complete band plus some interview bits too i guess. everybody can join the show, its free entry and drinks for all!
